This Privacy Policy applies to individuals (“Users”), including both riders and drivers, who interact with the NEMT Platform. By using our services, you agree to the practices outlined here, as well as any additional terms referenced in our Terms of Service. If you do not agree with these practices, please discontinue using the NEMT Platform.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Information You Provide to Us
Registration and Profile Information
When you create an account on the NEMT Platform, we may ask for your name, email address, phone number, and other profile details. Providing additional information (e.g., a profile photo or brief bio) is optional but helps personalize your experience for you and other Users. We do not support third-party login integrations (such as Facebook or Google) at this time.
Driver Application Information
If you wish to become a driver on the NEMT Platform, we may ask for information necessary to verify your identity and validate your eligibility to operate a vehicle, which can include your date of birth, driver’s license details, and proof of insurance. We may also collect your Social Security Number (or equivalent in your jurisdiction) solely for background check purposes if required by law. We do not collect driver bank account details as part of the sign-up or payment process; all payouts are coordinated through third-party payment processors.
Payment Method
Riders may add payment methods (e.g., credit or debit cards) to the NEMT Platform for fare payment purposes. This payment information is directly processed by a trusted, PCI-compliant third-party payment processor. We donot store full card details on our own servers.
Communications
When you contact us (for example, through Customer Support), we may collect the content of your messages, attachments, and any other information you choose to provide. We use this information to assist you and improve our support services.
1.2 Information We Collect When You Use the NEMT Platform
Location Information
Location data is necessary for our core services, such as matching riders with nearby drivers and calculating fares accurately. When you use the NEMT app, we may collect your precise location from your device if you grant permission (whether the app is in the foreground or background). We also use location data for safety purposes, including verifying a trip’s progress and helping respond to accidents or incidents if needed.
Device and Usage Information
We automatically gather technical information from your device to maintain and improve our services, such as IP address, device type, operating system, app version, and unique device identifiers. Additionally, we collect details about your usage of the NEMT Platform, including the pages or screens you view and the dates and times of your sessions.
Call and Text Information
We may work with third-party providers to facilitate calls or SMS messages between riders and drivers. In such cases, we may collect the date, time, and content of communications. Calls may be monitored or recorded (with prior notice) for safety and quality control.
Cookies and Similar Technologies
We and our partners use cookies and similar tracking technologies to provide essential functionality (e.g., remembering preferences) and to analyze usage. You can adjust your browser settings to refuse some or all cookies; however, doing so may limit certain features of the NEMT Platform.

3.1 Sharing Between Users
When a ride is confirmed, riders and drivers can view each other’s basic profile information (e.g., name, rating). Drivers see only the pickup location provided by the rider, and riders see the driver’s first name, vehicle information, and real-time location during the trip.
3.2 Sharing with Third Parties
We may share your data with third parties in the following ways:
- Service Providers: We share information with trusted vendors who perform functions on our behalf (e.g., payment processing, data analytics, marketing services).

You may opt out of receiving marketing emails by following the unsubscribe link in those messages or by adjusting your account preferences. We will still send you transactional or service-related messages when necessary.
Location Services
You can disable location sharing at any time by adjusting your device settings. Note that certain features of the NEMT Platform (e.g., matching you with nearby drivers) may not function properly without location data.
Additional Data Protection Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access, correction, deletion, or restriction of your personal data. You may also object to certain data processing or request data portability. To exercise these rights, please contact us (see Section 11 below).

7. “Do Not Track” Disclosures
Some browsers or operating systems offer a “Do Not Track” feature. Because there is not yet a common industry or legal standard for interpreting these signals, we currently do not respond to them.
